LAKERS BASEBALL PAGE
Yearly History Pages

Welcome to what I consider the most important section of the Lakers Baseball Page: the Yearly History Pages. The rest of the Web site is based upon the information compiled for these pages. Contained herein are rosters, schedules and statistics for each season since the program attained varsity status in the spring of 1976. I've aimed to create an easy navigation system by employing frames and the toolbar at the right.

For the years between 1976 and 1996, the rosters, schedules and statistics were constructed based on information such as rosters and statistics in the team's scorebook each year, as well as information compiled by former head coach Dave Saddlemire. Since 1997, I have kept up with the team's roster and schedule, and the final statistics have been posted following each season.

Each player who appeared in at least one game has been listed on the rosters. Since 1997, I've tried to account for each player who dressed for at least one game, regardless of whether he played. In the schedules, I have omitted cancelled games. Thus, the 14- and 15-game regular-season schedules that the team has played over the years likely started out with additional scheduled contests.

Unfortunately, there are some pieces of information from the rosters early in the program's history which are missing, such as uniform numbers or captains. I've done my best to make educated guesses on some uniform numbers, but many are still missing. There are also a couple numbers and captains from the late 80s that have gone unaccounted for. With your help, I can complete these rosters.
